It seems completely reasonable to assume that a large issue like climate change, with all of its consequences, can only be solved by the largest entities in the world: governments, wealthy people and large corporations. However, real multi-dimensional solutions are built from thousands of innovations, by people like you and me.
The problem, in a nutshell, is that governments are not innovation hubs, far from it. Large corporations are built to maximise profits for their shareholders. The very wealthy selectively shop for investments that minimise their risk and maximise their return. Yes, climate change is a big problem, but none of these big players are suited to the task.
It is up to all of us to take the lead in addressing our climate issues
